AVES Airport, AVES Industry und AVES Stadium automatically detect and effectively deter birds using AI-based technology.
Protection against bird strike, feeding damage and soiling
AVES Airport, AVES Industry and AVES Stadium are bird protection systems for use in the industrial sector.
Their use deters birds with the aid of sound pulses in response to specific events and in designated areas only. Industrial plants, sports facilities and airports are thus protected from damage, soiling and bird strikes.
Precise sensors and AI-based tracking software allow deterring individual birds as well as entire flocks. Due to interaction between the high-efficiency acoustic module and intelligent AI-based camera deployment, this deterrence is permanent and specific to the occasion.
AVES Airport
AVES Airport ensures greater safety for aviation through targeted bird deterrence at airports.
The system is positioned at the edge of the runway. It detects and track the birds and then guides them into avoidance corridors using targeted sound pulses. Thanks to the use of specially developed AI, birds are reliably recognised even in difficult lighting conditions such as twilight and at night.
An integrated ADS-B receiver automatically activates the systems 3 minutes before an aircraft takes off or lands and subsequently switches off the deterrence system.
In order to minimise the environmental impact, the systems include a modular noise protection, which reduces noise pollution to a minimum.
AVES Industry and AVES Stadium
AVES Industry and AVES Stadium were developed to automatically detect and effectably deter birds from sensitive and protected areas.
Using AI-based technology, the system protects buildings and facilities in industry, agriculture and the energy sector as well as stadiums and sports facilities from bird strikes, feeding damage and soiling by birds.
The noise limits of the German Technical Guidelines for noise reduction are complied with on the company premises. Mobile remote controls allow the loudspeaker to be deactivated directly.
The system also complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) thanks to specific camera detection zones.
